Rick Steves' Best of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in 14 Days

Hi!  I'm Kirsten Dartnell and this is my scrapbook from the September 27-October 10, 2016 Rick Steves’ Best of Germany, Austria, Switzerland in 14 Days tour.  I had such a great time, and took so many pictures, that I decided I needed to enter Rick’s scrapbook contest! 

I’ve organized this scrapbook with a page for each place where we stayed the night: Trier, Baden-Baden, Mürren, Munich, Salzburg, Hallstatt, and Vienna.  Within these pages, there’s an entry for each day of the trip.  The only exception to that organization is the stop we made at Mauthausen Concentration Camp.  I felt this visit warranted a separate page.

Additionally, while on the trip I posted daily on Facebook about the delicious local food and drink I was enjoying.  I marked each post with the hashtag #FoodPorn so I could easily locate them at a later date…I’ve recreated each #FoodPorn entry on a single page here for your enjoyment.  After all, food and drink are one of the highlights of any trip I take – it deserves its own entry!
